A Castelnuovo Scrivia, in provincia di Alessandria, in Piemonte, e’ stato arrestato il boss della ‘ndrangheta Sebastiano Strangio, 38 anni, di San Luca. Era Latitante dal 2007. E’ stato arrestato dalla squadra mobile di Reggio Calabria, insieme a quella di Alessandria. Gli agenti l’hanno bloccato in un bar. Sebastiano e’ il fratello di Maria Strangio, uccisa nella strage di Natale del 2006 che diede origine alla tristemente nota faida tra le famiglie Nirta-Strangio e il cartello Pelle-Vottari, e che culmino’ con la strage di Duisburg, in Germania. Sebastiano Strangio era ricercato per associazione a delinquere di stampo mafioso, omicidio ed estorsione.
